What is an electronic cigarette?
An electronic cigarette consists of three parts; a battery, a liquid holder and eLiquid. The battery unit usually has a lithium-ion battery, which is rechargeable and this powers the device. Entry-level electronic cigarettes have an internal battery but more advanced devices have a removable battery which can be changed once it is no longer holding charge. The liquid holder is usually referred to as a clearomizer or tank and contains a heating element within called an atomizer (head). This is powered by the battery and heats the eLiquid, which once inhaled produces vapour. The eLiquid is the final element of an electronic cigarette and this is available in different flavours and strengths.
What is the cost of Electronic Cigarette in India?
The costs of electronic cigarettes vary depending on the type. Most beginner kits range from Rs.800 – Rs.15000, starter or basic kits usually cost between Rs.800 and advanced kits costs Rs.1200 upwards. In terms of the maintenance cost, this is relatively low as the only items that need to be purchased in the short-term are atomizer heads (if you have a replaceable clearomizer/tank) and eLiquid. Typically, atomizer heads or coils as they are sometimes referred to, last approximately two weeks. This is all dependent on frequency of use and the battery voltage. The higher the voltage the less the lifespan of the atomizer head will be.
Why are there so many different ecigarettes in India available?
Different ecigs have different functions and come in all shapes and sizes. In addition, there are many ecig manufacturers on the market, with each having unique products. VAPOURINDIA is proud to offer such a huge range to its customers.
What do I need to get started or which items will suit beginners?
We recommend that you purchase one of our kits that come complete with everything you need to get started. We have Beginners range of electronic cigarettes, which are cheaper and easy to use. So better start with it. In addition, we recommend that you purchase extra eLiquid with your kit to ensure that you have sufficient supplies.
How do I use the electronic cigarette?
The majority of our beginner products are very straightforward to use and have online videos as well as instruction booklets. Please follow the manual that we send along with the product before start using the product. Alternatively you can also call us if you have any queries or doesn't know how to use it.

The item I am looking for is out of stock, when will you have it in?
We receive new stock on a daily basis; so in most cases you will not have to wait long for the products, which you are interested in. If any product is Out of Stock then we have an option where you can set Email Alert. This is available in each product as "NOTIFY ME WHEN IN STOCK" green button. Enter your email address and click the green button. You will get an email whenever the stock is back
What is the status of my order or How can I track my order?
You can check the status of your order in your account on our website. Please note that you have to be registered to view this. Once you place an order you will receive a confirmation order email, confirming the items ordered. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email that evening confirming that your order has been shipped. Also you can Track your order by using our menu "TRACK YOUR ORDER". Simply click and enter your order number and email address. You can view the status of the order
How do I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel your order please give us a call on 9688771188 or email us to [email protected]. Please note that, if cancelling your order by email let us know as soon as possible. Please note that if we cannot stop your order from being dispatched as it is already with the courier – you can return the unused goods to us and you will be given a full refund (minus postage costs).
What are your cut-off times?
Our cut-off time is 1pm. We ship orders Monday-Friday and all orders received after 1pm Friday are shipped out on Monday.
Why is my order pending?
The payment for orders is processed through payment gateway and if there is something suspicious about the transaction payment gateway hold the transaction. Also if you have selected Direct Bank Transfer then it will be in pending until we receive the money in our bank account. Normally, pending orders clear after a couple of hours but if you still think that your order is pending please get in touch with our customer service team.
When will I receive my order?
Delivery times are dependent on the delivery method chosen. For orders, please allow up to 3-5 working days for orders to arrive . If your order has not arrived please send us an email at [email protected].
 

Delivery

What are the delivery options?
Delivery charges are flat rate and it is Rs.100. Please see our delivery sections for information.
What is the estimated delivery time?
Delivery time is usually 3-4 business working days. Orders placed before 1 PM are delivered on the same working day. Orders placed after 1 PM will be delivered on next working day. Please note even though we deliver on same day or next working day the number of days courier takes to reach you varies and it takes 3-5 working days.
Are there any hidden costs (sales tax, octroi etc) on items sold by Sellers on VapourIndia.com?
There are NO hidden charges when you make a purchase on VapourIndia.com. List prices are final and all-inclusive. The price you see on the product page is exactly what you would pay.
Why is the CoD option not offered in my location?
Availability of CoD depends on the ability of our courier partner servicing your location to accept cash as payment at the time of delivery. Our courier partners have limits on the cash amount payable on delivery depending on the destination and your order value might have exceeded this limit. Please enter your pin code on the product page to check if CoD is available in your location.
When will I receive my order?

I need to return an item, how do I arrange for a pick-up?
Returns are easy. Contact Us to initiate a return. You will receive a call explaining the process, once you have initiated a return.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept Debit/Credit cards via payment gateway, Net Banking, PAYTM and Cash on Delivery. When you reach the payment stage of the order process you will have the option to either you can pay with a debit/credit card.

Batteries

My battery won’t charge?
If your battery is not charging it may be due to a number of different factors. Firstly, ensure that the charger you are using is the correct charger for the battery. We recommend that you only purchase chargers from our website to ensure that they work correctly and safely. Next, make sure that you are charging the battery the correct way. Some batteries are charged via the top connection (510 charger), others such as the AQWA V3 are charged from the bottom via a micro USB. Mods that take external batteries require an external charger for the battery cells. Sometimes the contact on the battery may be depressed due to over tightening – a simple fix for this is to raise the pin.
My battery won’t turn on?
Firstly, make sure that your battery is charged significantly before using it. The batteries we send out normally have some charge in them but some may be completely dead and will require charging before use. Different devices have different methods to turn the battery on. The most common ways to turn the battery on are as follows: Click the power button rapidly five times Click the power button rapidly five times For some LCD models you may need to navigate through the menu to turn the battery on. Which clearomizers/tanks are compatible with my battery?
Batteries or Mods are either 510 or eGo compatible. On a 510 battery you can only use a ‘510’ clearomizer/tank, an Ego clearomizer can be used but you will need an adapter - http://www. ecigstore.com/510-to-ego-adaptor-by- -ecig.html Ego style batteries can accept both 510 and Ego clearomizers – no adapters are needed. A point to note is that when changing different clearomizers and tanks on your battery/mod you may find that a new type of clearomizer/tank does not work. This may happen as different clearomizers/tank have varying pin heights. Therefore, the battery connection plate may be pressed down on – by just a millimetre even. This may not allow a clearomzier or tank to work on your battery. However, there is a simple fix for this, all you have to do is raise the pin/plate on the battery connection by a few millimetres at most.
How long do batteries last?
This depends on the usage and we can't predict. But for normal users it should last for 650mAh battery: 2-3 hours (i.e One Kit battery, Spinner 650 etc) 900mAh battery: 3-5 hours (i.e One XL battery) 2600mAh battery: 8-10 hours (i.e MVP)

Clearomizers/Atomizers/Tanks

 
What is the lifespan of the atomizer and how do I tell it needs replacing?
Atomizer refers to the atomizer head that is in all clearomizers and tanks. The atomizer head refers to the element, which is heated when the battery is activated and this is responsible for producing the vapour. Typically atomizer heads last for about four-five weeks but this is not the case all the time. As they are very fragile they can stop working after a few days if they are used excessively or if the voltage is too high. All atomizers have a Dead on Arrival warranty, this means that as soon as you receive the product you need to test it to see if it works, as soon as it works the warranty period ends. Atomizer heads are referred to as disposable goods and are not meant to last longer than a few weeks. The majority, of clearomziers/tanks we sell are replaceable units; this means that the only part that needs to be changed within the unit is the atomizer head. You can tell if the atomizer head needs to be replaced when there is a significant lack of vapour or if you get a burning almost smoky taste.
Can I use the same clearomizer/tank with another liquid?
Yes you can as long as you clean the clearomizer with cotton before filling another flavor. But it is recommended that your have a different tank for each eLiquid you use. This is because unless you clean the clearomizer/tank meticulously, there will always be a hint of the previous flavour.
Why does the eLiquid in my clearomizer/tank change colour?
With some eLiquids when they are exposed to air and light they sometimes change colour, this is perfectly normal. If the eLiquid in your clearomizer turns into a dark brown/black colour, you may need to change your clearomizer or replace the atomizer head in the unit (if it is a replaceable clearomizer).
My clearomizer is not firing/working?
This could be due to different reasons. Make sure the battery is connected properly to atomizer Make sure the battery is lighting up and working Make sure the coil is properly fixed in atomizer. Open the atomizer to view the coil.
What are rebuildable atomizers?
Completely rebuildable tanks are primarily aimed at advanced users as some RBAs can be complex to set up. Newbies can use these products too but it should be noted that they may run in to problems and may not get the unit to work at its optimal level. Essentially, a rebuildable unit has two posts (some have more), one post is positive and the other is negative.
 

Mechanical MODS

What are mechanical and non-mechanical mods?
Mechanicals Mods are in essence electronic cigarettes stripped to its ‘barebones’. These mods contain battery cells that when activated via a switch, complete a circuit that fires the atomiser/clearomizer which is attached to the mod. On the other hand, non-mechanical mods offer many more features such as variable voltage and/or wattage and have safety protection.
Why should I buy a mechanical mod?
Mechanical mods are very versatile and are great to use with rebuildable atomizers (where you have to build your own coils and wick). For example, if you are building dual or quad coils, the resistance of the atomizer is often below 1ohms. On a non-mechanical mod this would not fire but on a mechanical mod it will. Mechanical mods are not aimed at new users, as they can be dangerous if used inappropriately. However, they are a must-have for an intermediate/advanced vaper.
Which battery cells can be used with MODs?
For non-mechanical mods we recommend that you use 18650 batteries. As mechanical mods do not contain any circuitry, it is recommended that you use a protected battery. Protected batteries have an extra layer of protection that activates when anything goes wrong, such as an overload of power. Battery cells are available in 3 sizes, 18350, 18490/18500 and 18650. Mods that are telescopic can usually take all of these batteries as the length of the battery holder can be adjusted to suit the battery size.
 

Aftercare

How should I maintain the products?
With all the products we sell, we recommend that you treat them with care. Batteries need to be stored appropriately and safely as they can be dangerous if misused. Battery cells should never be stored in your pocket with other metal objects like coins or keys as this can short out the battery and cause a hazard. Battery cells should be stored in a safe area away from metal objects or in a plastic storage container.
I am not happy with my products, what do I do?

What should I do if I think my product is faulty/not working?
